Sneak peek: Katie & Alyssa! {wedding : topsfield, ma}

I had these big dreams of launching my new blog with this post, but life happens and the new blog will launch next week...but I can't hold out on Katie & Alyssa!  So let's think of this post as going out with a bang!!  They had a gorgeous wedding at Willowdale Estate this past weekend and of course, we could not pass up this tub!

I must apologize for not blogging more often but I have a very good reason.  I am currently switching over to a new blog!!  Thoughtfully designed by some talented friends of mine, we will be launching this new blog very soon.  So stay close by for the big announcement and many, many fantastic blog posts!

Remembering my birthday {personal : franklin, MA}

Well, today is my birthday and I'm turning the big 2-8!  While I am off celebrating on this gorgeous day, I wanted to post one of my favorite birthday memories with you all.  It involves the Beatles.  It doesn't get much better than that!  So picture this...every birthday morning I would wake...yes wake...to the very loud vocal melodies of Paul McCartney and company shouting that "today is my birthday" and that "we are gunna have a good time!"  And while my parents were not here this morning to play it for me, I certainly found it on You Tube and played it while Matt made me a delicious birthday breakfast.

Chelsea Gwynne {Vendor shout out : stuff I love}

Losing a fantastic neighbor when you live in an apartment is always a tragic event.  When we first moved into our Brookline apartment in 2007, I was so nervous about who my new neighbors would be.  My husband and I were lucky to get an end unit, so we only shared one wall...but that was our bedroom wall.  Right after we moved in we started to speculate that no one actually lived there at all because it was always so quiet.  But soon we met the couple and we LOVED them.  And they LOVED Rupert ;)  We saw them get engaged and get married and sadly, we saw them buy their first home.  When they told us they were leaving my heart was crushed.  After I begged them to stay...for Rupert's sake of course...I immediately went into panic mode over who our new neighbors would be.  But by some blessing of the apartment gods, we got fantastic neighbors again!  Chelsea, Michael...and their dog, Monty!!  As we got to know them, I found out that Chelsea has her own business designing beautiful jewels!

Lauren & Craig: Married!! {Newport : Rhode Island}

January is proving to be a slightly slow an incredibly unproductive month.  With all this snow we keep getting I find myself stranded in front of the television...that's right...not the computer.  There is something about trash TV and Animal Planet that acts like hot cocoa and hand-knit blankets on blustery days.  Well, I've caught up on the first season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (wowzers!) and Rupert and Stella are perfect dogs... So it's time bring it back to something actually real! 

It's time to show off Lauren & Craig who had a super classy and drama-free (Lauren is a Red Sox fan and Craig is a Yankee's fan...) wedding on New Years Eve.  They celebrated at the Hyatt Regency on Goat Island in Newport, Rhode Island with the largest wedding party ever (12 each!) and the most loving and spirited family on earth.  AND all of them knew how to party on New Years Eve!  A big thank you to Caitlin Maloney for having me shoot this fantastic event with her.  Check out her blog for the photobooth!!! 

I would also like to have it be known that when Matt asks me to marry him again...I will be wearing Lauren's dress...GORGEOUS!
